That hurt! We\\\'ve given games away in the last few minutes in the past but that one really, really hurt for some reason.
We wasnt robbed - we got what we deserved, its not like we couldnt see it coming - that big number 11 had broke through a couple of times before in the game - it just hurt bad.
In the same way as I wanted the win over Swanwick to be a turning point, you have to look at this defeat as a turning point too - no more 60 minute performances, no more switching off in the final minutes, no more do I want to see certain players looking around the pitch and seeing a handfull of players having a half decent game and letting them carry the cause - theres 11 of you out there.
A couple of you had poor games and I appreciate that you cant hit form every game but against teams like Holbrook we should be able to cope with that.
Get yourselves down to training regularly, although personally I think you\\\'d be better off going to regular paint balling and army training camps to build up some steel and a trench mentality, but training is what we have so lets make the most of it with maximum effort - no feeble excuses.
Its still not too late to look upwards given our games in hand and looking at the teams above us but another performance like this and once again the Ams will finish in a respectable lower mid table position - what worries me is that the players that have been at the club for a few years seem to accept that as your place and either want no more than that or dont believe you can improve - or both.
Im not here for mid table obscurity and neither should you be.
Onwards,
Dave
