first game of the season saw us playing a team that beat us 5-1 in a preseason friendly, thus the chance to make amends and play better than in that fixture.
the game was very end to end and by no means the push over that radcliffe expected, both teams moved the ball extreamly well and created chances but it was derby who broke the dead lock with a through ball from mayrick which put perry clear and from 18 yards hit the back of the net to make it 1-0.
radcliffe came back but with derbys defence holding chances were few, however they got an equalising goal but a soft goal from derbys point of view. then late into the game the winner came which was another very soft goal to concede, speaking to thier manager after the game he was very relieved to have the win in the bag as we were difficult to beat.
